A: We use a solvent-based pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. It takes about 12 hours to cure, but can usually be removed without leaving a sticky residue behind. Our products use strong adhesives and were designed for semi-permanent installation.

A: No, we don't recommend using them on the carpet. Only on smooth, slick, hard surfaces. Steady Treads are not carpet tape
